  • Introducing —-

    NINA MANANDHAR

We love Nina Manandhar’s photography. Its in-the-moment photography at its best. She captures London and its occupants in a poetically raw and honest perspective.

‘Money On My Oyster’ is Nina’s debut photo book and accompanying exhibition.
Featuring a culmination of works based on a 5 year project documenting London’s street culture and youth style.

  • Shaniqwa Jarvis is a fantastic London-born, now LA-based photographer who’s hitting the mark.
Her clients include NIKE, Reebok, Stussy Deluxe and some brilliant self-published projects such as This Charming Man.

We featured her in Ala Champfest Issue #4, and she’s definitely one to keep watch on since!

See her work, you will love.

  • SALONE. The inaugural design and furniture event which has the whole world talking.
Perhaps it’s the high calibre of designers who showcase the latest works, or the best galleries presenting the current trends and innovations – it is certainly the most intriguing and immersive time to be in Milan.

Champ contributor and Milan-based correspondent, Samuele Marfia covered the highlights. Samuele is himself one to watch! An irrepressible international stylist, who styled the Givenchy editorial in our Issue #6 alongside photographer Nicolo Terraneo. Together and individually, their work fantastic.

Beautiful design for your visual inspiration.
Keep an eye on our website and insta/ facebook for the coverage.

  • Since the film ‘The Artist is Present’ was released last year, performance art has gained further understanding on the mostly-forgotten art form, and the name Marina Abramović has become synonymous with it.

The Marina Abramović Foundation for the Preservation of Performance Art is due to open in 2014, designed by Rem Koolhas. We have to share this video, as we’re overwhelmed with Marina’s humble emotional intelligence and graceful sophistication with thoughts on human connection.

  • Stussy Volume.1

Any printed matter gets the thumbs up from us. We’re excited for this to drop.

Even better when it’s from one of our favourites, Stussy.
The accompanying track makes it too! Music from: GOODGOODNOTBAD

  • Well, what an amazing individual. Who isn’t a Dilla fan? This 30 min vid not only brings a smile, but reminds us of his originality and influence. Here JRocc shares a portion of his previously unseen full record collection for FUSE TV’s Crate Diggers Series.

His mum is amazing. She alphabetised his collection. Say wha!
